It’s a Nice Day for a White Wedding

The Couple

I’ve known Christine and Thomas for awhile now, so it was such a joy to get to shoot their big special day.  I first had the pleasure of meeting this couple several years back to capture Christine’s beautiful glow in a maternity session. Then when their little bundle of joy arrived, I ended up photographing their new baby girl, Emma. And when they got engaged, they called me! I love being able to share in a family’s journey and document all these special milestones with them.

The Venue

Christine and Thomas tied the knot at the Smithville Inn in New Jersey.  Smithville Inn is a picturesque venue spanning several acres with a converted restaurant that was once a quaint Inn from 1787. Refurbished with extensive detail this now historic site is the perfect location for a wedding. The day of the event turned out to be quite windy and cold, but Christine was such a trooper! She didn’t let that stop her from enjoying her wonderful wedding day. And we certainly didn’t let that stop us from capturing these beautiful images!

The Look

Christine looked absolutely radiant. She had her bridal makeup look done by Taffeta. I loved getting to be able to work with the team from Taffeta again. They are a great group of talented hair and makeup stylists from Downtown Hammonton dedicated to catering solely to brides on their big day. And Christine was simply stunning.

Capturing The Moments

With a unique venue setting the scene and a great group in tow, we got some beautiful shots to capture their personalities. Vacad Films was also there to document these moments in film. I had a blast with Brian from Vacad and I know together we were able to give Christine and Thomas memories that they can look back on and treasure for a lifetime.

Preserving The Memories

When I started designing their wedding album, I loved the fact that the file I saved was called “The White Album”; as I am a huge Beatles fan. It really summed up this special, fun couple’s day! In early January I brought them back in the stdio, presented them their images and had an album specially designed for them.  They fell in love with it.  I love making things easy for my clients.  They just picked up all their artwork and will have them to cherish forever. I look forward to continuing to photograph their family in the future, and watching as Emma grows.
